Welcome to Ark Ayrton Academy
We are a two form entry primary school and nursery, offering a great education for local children in Portsmouth.
At Ark Ayrton we have high expectations of our children and what they can achieve. Our priority is to ensure all children are safe, happy and learning well at all times.
Our nursery was rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in June 2022.

All children are able to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Many book characters wear everyday clothes so please don’t feel you need to buy an outfit. Please see letter for some ideas for low-cost costumes and you can also look on the WBD website for ideas and get creative over half term!
Pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be attending Fratton Park on the day to take part in a Guinness World Record attempt.
